Agree with this. Train drops you off in Midtown. So much easier than flying.
For other things to do and I’m assuming this is a first visit, otherwise you wouldn’t be asking..
-walk across the Brooklyn Bridge.
-visit Times Square at night when it’s lit up. I’m not a Times Square fan, but you have to see it at least once at night.
-go to a show
-eat! NYC is a great food city and you will probably be walking a lot, so you will earn those calories.
-go to Central Park
-go up Empire State Building or Rockefeller Building
-we like going to some of the ethnic neighborhoods. Chinatown and Little Italy are right next to each other, in Lower Manhattan. Chinatown is great, I think there is a more authentic Italian neighborhood in the Bronx, but probably not worth going all the way there. We also like K-Town, which is near Empire State Building
