He told the team the week before tryouts this was his last season at Maryvale. 2028-2030 girls are already reaching out to other schools in the league about next year.
He over-recruited and over-promised. They have a huge varsity roster now and added a third HS team because the JV roster was so big last year. Like most coaches, he sticks with his core 16 players which means he has 16 girls who are cheerleaders who say they are on varsity.
Curious who will take over as HC and will that person be able to keep girls there and recruit new girls? If not, the student population at Maryvale will be be cut in half!![]()
