I have a friend with 9yo twins who fight all the time over anything and everything. It starts off verbal but often turns physical. I feel bad for mom and dad. They always look drained from them.

I know they grounded them off all video games the last time they were really bad.

If they fight over the Nintendo, they don't get to use the Nintendo.

OP here, the fighting is verbal

Well, that’s the fighting age, isn’t it! Lol. I would suggest separating them, separate rooms, which will be necessary anyway. Next promise them to help out should they ever need it. Lastly please know these matters are not significant and shouldn’t worry you much, if even at all! Thank you!

Dear DCUM,

The twins, 10, keep fighting. The topics range from the door being open at night in their room to who gets to use the Nintendo. I feel like they’re just fighting for the sake of fighting. How should I handle this?

Thank you so much,
Marlene
