this x 1000!!

Pediatricians and family doctors are capable of this. Doesn’t need to be a GYN visit.

Same here. I’ve grown to not love our ped practice over the past few years, but it was just easier for the college vax, paperwork, etc until she was done with her first year of college.

She turns 19 this summer and I’ll be moving her to the family practice I go to.

Continuing with the ped through college gives benefits if they are local enough to come home on the weekends, like easy weekend appts as needed.

2 boys and I moved them to a family practitioner around 12-13. My pede was going out of network and didn't feel another pediatrician was needed. Also, the fam practitioner was male

We love our pediatrician, so we stayed through college. We need to see what insurance DC will have when starting a new job.

Teen and Young Adult Care Center - is where they've been for a while. Oldest is soon to be 23 and is in grad school. My assumption is they will stay there through grad school, and when they get a job and their own insurance, they will get a new doc

Our ped has seen my kids until graduation from college. They do look a little silly in the room decorated with train decals, but they also moved to new cities after college, so no point in finding a GP here.

My 21 yo will squeeze in one last visit with his pediatrician this summer. He loves that guy.

We’ve also seen the same doc. We go to a family medicine practice. Same with the dentist.

DC is 18 but still in high school. Is it time to change to a general practitioner?
