This may be true on the girls side, but from what I’ve seen, the Loudoun boys teams tend to be amongst the smaller / least physical teams we’ve played at the top of both the 2015 and 2016 age groups.

Bethesda 2016 top boys are miles ahead of any other club. Wouldn't say this for every age group, but it is certainly the case for 2015s and 2016s (at the moment).

At this age, GFR could also be a good option, too, along with Arlington and Mclean depending on where in Tyson's you are. They are good for the younger ages.

Look - if you have a boy and aren’t going to give more details - I’d target the clubs that have MLSNext HG (SYC, Alexandria, Loudoun because NVA doesn’t start until U13) or ECNL (Arlington or VSA/PWSI, excluding Union because the feeder clubs aren’t consistently strong, so you might find one great 2016 but results could be mixed).

What is your son’s style? Is he super physical or a small, fast dribbler? What position does he play? We can refine based on that.

It can take over 2 1/2 hours to get from one side of Northern Virginia to the other during rush hour. This is why people are asking for more specifics.

That’s like saying you’re moving to Atlanta. The area is huge and traffic can be awful. Narrowing things down to a county would help us help you.

Hello, we’re relocating to the area from South Florida and are beginning to explore teams for our son (2016). He currently plays on the top team at a highly competitive academy, and we’re hoping to find a similar environment.

We’ll be in town over the next couple of weeks and would love to connect with clubs to see if there might be an opportunity for them to evaluate him prior to tryouts.
