Oh PS a local UU church has a session for age 10+ and public libraries sometimes do too

DS’s MS has a D&D Club, he has been DMing there for 2 years. The games are a bit ridiculous sounding but they kids seem to be having a blast and that is all that matters.
Ignore the people who say it is too complicated for kids. It can be a complicated game but the kids enjoy it, even if they miss somethings.

I have no direct experience, but I’ve seen D&D on the library events calendar. I think they may have a virtual group. I’ve also seen game events that I thought were more about board games, but they might have D&D too.
Nearly every middle school has a DnD group, and you can also go to your local gaming store and ask if there's a regular game going. It's absolutely a middle school and older thing, not an ES thing.

DnD is usually not a kids' game, just because it can get quite complex. My kids started in high school. One of my friends (50s, serious job, athlete) has a DnD group with his friends every week...

Adults play D&D! It's been a few years, but my son really liked playing with Games Unbound, https://www.gamesunbound.com/

Hello all. My son recently turned 12. He is getting into DnD. I don't know much about it. He is interested in playing with some of his friends from ES, but since now they are 6th graders, some have told him that don't want to play because it's so ES (I know older kids play as well). I can see him drifting away from his friends and he is a kid that doesn't easily makes friends. Are there groups around MoCo where kids that are middle school age meet to play DnD? Any help will be greatly appreciated.
