We had some questions about it though and wondered if DCUM might be able to help with answers:
1. How big is each cohort of Nusca Scholars?
2. What does it mean that they are assigned an individual faculty advisor? Is that meaningful as they go through high school?
3. How does this compare to the St John’s Scholars program?
I don’t have specific details (sorry!) but DS’s former classmate is a Nusca Scholar and really enjoys it. He chose DeMatha over other schools because of the deep sense of brotherhood and down to earth atmosphere. It sounds like the classes are challenging and he loves his teachers. Definitely worth considering.
