Doesn't surprise me at all. While the VAST majority of military members/civil servants are probably horrified by this, there is a cancerous core of people who work in DoD who completely agree with this kind of rhetoric.

During first Trump term, I had a civilian supervisor who started meetings with prayers/praise for Jesus, kept a bible on his desk right in front of the chair you'd sit in, and made his views about women quite clear - they are DESIGNED and BORN to be subservient to men.

Thus, all women in the office (except the "secretaries") were considered taking the rightful place of a man and were not wanted. Women had to hand their work over to males and they were the ones to present it to leadership.

I filed an EEO against him on behalf of all women in the office and guess what? I got retaliated against immediately and was forced to retire early at significant financial penalty.

Now we are in Trump 2.0 there is even less hope for anyone who tries to buck the Trumpers, especially Kegsbreath.

He isn't going anywhere and neither is Trump.

This pastor holds what should be considered extreme and unacceptable views - that women shouldn't have the right to vote (or the right to do much of anything else) and that the United States should be a Christian theocracy.

I wrote to my Senators, my Representative, and Sen. Duckworth. Hegseth is incompetent to begin with but he should be forced to resign over this.

Oh yes, he actually tweeted in support of a CNN video interviewing pastors from this church discussing how women are subservient to men and preferably would not have the right to vote.

He is a POS. I do nit get anyone who supports him. If it was a Muslim posting anything about taking away women's right to vote, MAGA would foam at the mouth. However, crazy far right Christian nut jobs are perfectly fine, apparently.
