If it hurts that much, maybe you have a hairline fracture. They often don't show up on X-rays. Nothing to do about it, except what you're already doing...

When I had lower back and tailbone pain a few years ago, a friend who is a PT suggested some stretching/exercise videos on YouTube, specifically “Ask Dr Jo” series. The instructor is a little strange but the exercises were helpful.

I slipped on ice a couple of years ago, and landed hard on concrete.

Shift your weight to your cheeks. But I hear you, it's super painful.

A bag of frozen peas down the back of leggings (leggings hold the bag in place). This many days out you could also try some heat with a hot water bottle. Does it hurt even when you lie on your side?

On Monday I wiped out and fell on my ass. My tailbone feels bruised and hurts. I've ordered a donut pillow thing for sitting, but does anyone have any ideas for when I'm in bed? It hurts when I'm laying down too. (Already went to the ER and confirmed coccyx isn't broken, iced, etc.) Thank you!
