The place youre describing sounds like its for younger kids, I would pick somewhere different. If you have a neighborhood pool that would be an easy party.
+1. There are always conflicts during the school year too- sports, etc. My kids like summer birthday parties because it's a chance to see their friends, if we are available then we go. I agree the neighborhood pool parties are always a hit. Both my kids have winter birthdays and lament that they can't have an outdoor pool birthday party!
