I have the iconic from Amazon. About $45 and have been using it for about 3 1/2 years daily. I like it, but one feature that I wish it had would be a removable tank to more easily fill and dump. Not a big deal if you have an outlet close to the sink.

I use one for my invisalign on occasion, as it gets it much cleaner than I can get it just by brushing, but I do worry about the fact that the water does seem to get gently heated and so it might be subtly altering the shape of the invisalign.

I also soak in diluted peroxide and occasionally gently brush it beforehand. Cheap and works fine.

My custom made $$$ night guard has a harder outer surface and a softer surface against my teeth and I am worried the ultrasonic cleaners would negatively affect the glue (or whatever) somehow.

It's super convenient. I toss them in in the morning and grab them at night. That's a plus.

Totally worth it. I drop it in the in the morning with half a denture tab and walk away. I rinse with water before putting it back in my mouth before bed. I never have to brush it. No build up. No scratches. No smell.

My dentist, too, says never do this. She doesn’t even like the fuzzy cleansers. Just a gentle toothbrush wiping after use.

My dentist said it wasn't necessary. I soak mine every morning in diluted peroxide and then rinse with warm water. Occasionally I use a toothbrush in al the nooks and crannies.

I've usually just washed my nightguard with cool water, soap, and soft brush, with a soak in denture tabs from time to time. I've seen people talking online about the ultrasonic cleaners - are they worth it? My teeth are prone to cavities (yes, I floss every day, brush multiple times per day) and I'm wondering if a deeper regular nightguard cleaning would help - I saw the ultrasonic cleaners, but wasn't sure what people's experience is.
