To be fair I don't blame big tech. One thing Trump is correct about although he is all over the place the media is not to be trusted.

Are you the same poster who doesn't understand actively managed mutual funds and ETFs that generally follow indices?
PP here, this poster is generally right, if you have a total stock market index fund (which most of us should), it's heavily tilted towards this stuff just because of how much the market has become overwhelmed by the big tech companies' size. It's something I worry about/hate, but don't have a good solution for it.

My ETF is full of index funds that follow an index with 0 AI - thanks!
Which one is it of you don't mind asking. I asked because Google, Microsoft, Apple, Nvidia etc are all big AI players. So I'm genuinely curious if there are funds that avoid the big AI players. And are their investors okay with that?

Investors hope to save on labor, physical and benefit cost. At least at the company I work for, when a consultant made a pitch to us the first thing our Director asked was how many positions were cut at companies that used a similar product. He was really excited.
