True, but completely unacceptable. I have almost broken my neck a dozen times in the past 2 weeks trying to access the incredibly inconvenient locations my dog has chosen to poop, but I've done it.

I abhor people who don't clean up after their dogs. It's gross and dangerous, especially for other dogs. Little puppies will eat poop and get parasites that make them really sick. No one forced you to get a dog. If you don't want to clean up after one (totally fair) then don't get one.

Dogs don’t really belong in dense urban neighborhoods.

The real problem is that people get dogs because they are socially isolated and dogs give them the companionship they should be getting from people.

So the real issue here is technology mixed with cancel culture. When you start cutting everyone out of your life except for your online echo chamber, then a dog is about the only thing left to spend time with.

There’s a legitimate research question about why some people love to litter. I’ve heard that it’s a form of protest but that’s never made sense to me.

A nice quiet SF neighborhood is infiltrated by the YIMBY's who will immediately complain about everything that makes the neighborhood great.

Yes, my neighborhood is full of purebreds and designer "doodles" that poop everywhere and go to the store with their owners.

In my neighborhood, it's all the upper income young professionals living in luxury condos who don't pick up their dog poop, take their dogs to the grocery store, and let their dogs off leash around playgrounds.

I'm middle class and can't even afford a dog.
