I’m not sure why you believe this, but this is not accurate at all.

The kids at UGA just seemed more carefree. They were bubbly and presented well. Strong kids no doubt, but less of an edge. UVA felt like an extension of NOVA when we visited which wasn’t my experience. Don’t get me wrong, selfishly I’d like DS to be closer!
Good grief.

Basically, your kid has a 5th year of all the high school bullshit for UVA.
UGA no surprise has a strong network in Atlanta and the southeast. Not so much on Wall Street and the northeast…though if you network like crazy (and yes…consider a fraternity), not out of the realm.
Do you have a cite for any of this?
Just do a Google search. It will govern you the AI summary from the UVA website and a link. Same for UGA.
Says UVA has a 50-60% internal acceptance rate while UGA is 90%.
I’ll pass on an AI summary but would appreciate links from the actual websites. The higher odds of getting in would seem like a good thing if it’s true.
So, do the Google search and it will give you the links.
It’s actually pretty well known that UVA and UNC undergrad business programs are competitive internal acceptances. Not a given by any stretch and require top grades, ECs, etc.
