My husband and I always wear our rings. Both American. Neither of us is a big jewelry person but they have meaning to us and we both feel weird without them.

My finger swelled when I had two kids and I stopped wearing it during second pregnancy. The band is beautiful and I'm afraid enlarging will damage it.

The men in my family didn't ever have bands because they were lab scientists. My mom lost her original diamond from its setting. And much later the cubic zirconia she replaced it with.

My grandpa had a gold high school class ring that has a small black dent in it caused by wearing it during a science experiment. He might have gotten shocked.

I wear my rings outside the house, but often leave them off at home because I am constantly washing my hands and they are a tad big.

All of my marred friends wear them, though those married to Europeans follow that tradition (right hand, I think?).

DH lost his ring years ago after losing some weight and he never replaced it. I wear my rings daily but usually take them off in the evening.

I only wear mine when I get dressed up and leave the house (I work from home). My husband rarely wears his.

Neither my DH nor I do. For a long time we worked in research labs and would be changing gloves multiple times a day and decided it was easier to skip wearing them. My coworker actually lost her very expensive engagement ring like this.
