It’s good that Gemini answered it correctly.

But it’s a problem that ChatGPT — the most widely used AI model — got it so wrong.

At first my DH was excited about it because he thought it would be a good way for people to get financial advice. But he quickly learned that he had to constantly correct its math. Now it worries him because many people will not double check the answers and will move forward with bad information while convinced it’s the right information.

I need to get my car washed. The car wash is 25 meters away. Should I go there by foot or drive?

This is what it told me:

So ChatGPT can’t process the fact that if I need to get my car washed, the only answer is to drive my car to the car wash, even if it’s very close.
