Most people do not need antivirals when they get the flu, dumb. Your kid would have been just fine sleeping it off in bed with some Tylenol

Wegman's will deliver same day or you can drive up and they bring it to your car.

I have used Amazon pharmacy many times and never had same day. I have had two Rx lost or extremely delayed and they were not helpful. In fact both Amazon and cvs staff told me they would not transfer Rx between each other. I ended up transferring to a small local pharmacy. I’m glad it worked in your case, but doesn’t always.

Costco and Walmart deliver too.

Did your son actually test for the flu (there are OTC tests) and then, made a telehealth appointment?

In case this is helpful for any other parents:

Kid got the flu over the weekend when student health was closed, so had a telehealth appointment and got a prescription sent to CVS nearby. CVS was out of the antiviral and so were all CVS in a 25 mile radius. I was able to transfer the prescription to Amazon pharmacy and they delivered it the same day. I have never used Amazon pharmacy before but am now a fan and very grateful for this option. And the price was cheaper than it would have been at CVS.
