My in laws live in Garrett County and have a ES student. The only way they can effectively communicate with their teacher is via her personal Facebook (my BIL doesn't have a FB and therefore, can't email her). The admin dismisses my nephews needs for accommodations. It's really a mess, but today was the worst offender.
They only missed 2 days from the ice storm. They were going to do a virtual day today, for President's Day, a federal holiday, but this morning at 5:30am, they sent out an email to accounce they are now in person. I couldn't believe it so I checked the website and sure enough, it was announced early this morning.
How does that work for busses? Teachers and admin out of the area? What a mess! If you live there, what's the feedback on this?
If you don't believe me....
