Godiva has never been premium.

So, try to find a local chocolatier you trust. Personally, I'd rather pay top dollar for a few good pieces of chocolate than a box of a dozen+ truffles which are junk.

Lot of local scammers in the industry too. Pretty sure it was a viral scandal when a Brooklyn chocolatier was scamming customers claiming to sell them a premier product when they were really selling junk.

Correct.

I agree, I got some for Christmas and they are hard and shriveled up. I threw them away. They used to be delightful. My guess they changed the way they produce them to make more money. Bye bye Godiva.

Might have something to do with prices of cocoa beans skyrocketing. Companies are changing their recipes to use less of the good stuff.

The new truffles are dry, with powdery or crumbly exteriors. The old truffles had smooth exteriors.

I agree. Gross and not worth the premium price they demand.

I didn’t get anything yesterday. I’m getting a Whitmans sampler tomorrow for half price

I have been ordering Godiva truffles for years - they are my absolute favorite. Recently they changed their entire collection and formula. We tried the new ones for Valentine’s Day. They are awful!! Also, the new Gold collection sucks. Very disappointed. Anyone else??
