If your kid is on a relay team it's a pretty safe bet they'll be at finals. Teams that don't come back are usually the 6a and 6b 2nd/3rd/4th place relays.
Unless they DQ prelims, which does happen.

The meet is next weekend. Which districts will be swimming in it?
How many heats do the have in prelims? And how does that work since there are time cuts and top finishes in the meet. Does that mean some events have 27 and some have 16???
Do relays swim both prelims and finals???
What other odd things are there to know?

Individual events are harder to predict because many kids have more than two State cuts. They do not fill the heats, so if all the qualifiers from Regions went, and no one with a cut who didn't swim Regionals, there would be 20 swimmers. They won't pull four more to make 24 like the would for Regionals.
A and B finals for individual; I think for relays as well, which means both prelim and final swim for everyone.
NP. What are the four districts?
