Not relevant to the OP because I do not like smells in my laundry, but those of you who have gone back to powder - please tell me what I'm missing! Did I fall for a marketing scam on the liquid?
All Free & Clear liquid (so we can control the amount vs the pods). Hang dry on a clothesline on a sunny day if you want delicious smelling laundry but I realize that's not flying in the current weather.
I don't understand how people use scented laundry detergent. We use either All Free & Clear or Arm & Hammer unscented. I tried Persil but the scent was too strong.
Use the scent free detergents and add a small amount of the dissolving scent beads. I think regular/scented detergent is also too strong but I like using some scent beads in stuff like sheets and towels.
I do not use pods. I don't like them. My preference is powder detergent. I wish we would go back to that. I like tide free powder. Very difficult to find but that's my favorite.
We have always used Tide but switched to the Free and Clear pods last year. DH said he wishes that there was some scent but when we tried the Tide Pods with Oxi Clean from Costco the scent almost knocked us over. Is there a mildly scented detergent that isn’t as aggressive? Even with a newer washing machine and an extra rinse cycle the pods from Costco leave all the clothes smelling very strong.
