thank you! I just waited an hour to get into the online ticket que at realmadrid.com and they only had tickets for $500 in a pretty high up section. I think we got access to a lounge with maybe some free food and drinks before the game but given the seats aren't that great, I'm headed back to stub hub.

We bought tickets for a Real Madrid v. Rayo Vallacano game a couple years ago via Stubhub. We were literally in the second row at midfield so I thought the price ($400 each) was a great value. The season ticket holder who sold the seats had his plastic pass delivered to our Madrid hotel the day before the game and we left it at the hotel concierge for him to pick up the morning after the game. The experience was seamless. We also got amazing tickets to an Atletico Madrid game on the same trip -- also via Stubhub and also had no issues at all.

We have also done the VIP hospitality route for games at Anfield and The Emirates which were nice experiences but those packages are definitely overpriced and we prefer to just buy our own "regular" tickets now.

Last October we got great tickets via Stubhub to see AC Milan v. Napoli at the San Siro. We went through a local travel company called Around Turin to get tickets to see Juventus play AC Milan in Turin. Local travel agencies sometimes specialize in obtaining hard to get tickets.

The key phrase in the European football world is "Hospitality Package" or just Hospitality. That's what they call these overpriced packages that non-residents have access to- it's usually a mediocre meal where a team legend player gives 5 minutes of remarks about the good old days. Then you get tickets to pretty good seats, and the option of a drink after the game. At least that's how the UK teams do it, may be slightly different in La Liga but probably pretty similar.

My time has come - I did this two years ago for myself and 3 others! I used Stubhub and it was a pretty miserable experience. Be very careful with the categories and the actual map, we paid too much for tickets in a not amazing spot way high up.

But, we did go, the tickets were legit and we saw Kroos's last game at home. There are a few other companies doing resell (vivid seats for one) but I've never used them.

My big regret is not paying more and getting hospitality package tickets close up.

Remember the Season Ticket holders get these for hugely discounted amounts and resell for profit which are the ones in the app now. It's also a Champion's League game. They do public releases a set amount of days before a game.

For the Real Madrid vs. Benfica UEFA Champions League match on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, tickets for the general public are scheduled to go on sale on Tuesday, February 17, 2026.

I think Reddit would be your best place to go- probably a Real Madrid or La Liga subreddit.

It seems there is some public release but also stubhub etc. tickets are like $300 each for a late February game and just checking if anyone has figured this out previously! I have read something about needing a spanish credit card on some sites. thank you!
