The serous downgrading in the level of competition that Prep would face in this new imagined conference would be another strong reason for them to move to the Catholic League.

Having to play DeMatha and St John's in everything might be daunting, but putting some of these MAC schools on the schedule isn't fair to them or Prep. They usually dominate the IAC All Sports Founders Cup. One imagines what these teams would do against the MAC schools.

If there is no promotion and relegation, they are separate leagues. Why do this at all?

Why would Severn and St Mary's want to move on from the MIAA?

Why not add Spaulding?

Not really.

Getting to Annapolis is a lot easier than heading north to Baltimore.

Nope. The 2nd division would be just fine. In a perfect world they could keep Landon and Bullis on the schedule too.

Prep should move to the WCAC but play in the 2nd division in football with Ryken, Carroll, Ireton, PVI, O'Connell

MAC: FH, GDS, M, Potomac, St. James, St. Andrews, and SF
IAC: Bullis, GP, Landon, SSSAS, EHS, and SA

Combine the league plus one more ??? and create the two divisions.

Div 1: Bulllis (MD), EHS (VA), FH (VA), GP (MD), Landon (MD), Potomac (VA), and ______
Div 2: GDS (DC), M (DC), SSSAS (VA), St. James (MD), St. Andrews (MD), St. Albans (DC), and SF (DC)

The problem gets complicated with girls in the IAC schools having to leave the ISL?

You also keep the IAC name as well.
