Oh give it a rest. Parents can be just as invested (or not, in your case) whether they like to or not. To each their own.
They can. But it doesn’t make it healthy.
I’m so happy my parents didn’t participate in my application process at all.
I plan to stay out of my kid’s process.
I'm so up in my kid's process I'm wearing it as a hat!

Ivywise has a compilation of regular decision release dates (https://www.ivywise.com/blog/regular-decision-notification-dates/) that include last year's actual dates and this year's official word from each school (usually conservative, such as "by April 1"). Assuming no change from last year -- Ivy day was 3/27 last year and is 3/26 this year so a somewhat reliable assumption -- my kid's earliest notification will be 3/13 by WashU. That's 32 freaking loooong days away

Sending love to all the kiddos deferred from early rounds. Especially with more and more kids knowing earlier and earlier -- it's ROUGH.

Another mom of twins here. One got into a safety and the other did not (the safeties are state schools that have not released their decisions yet). I'm tired of the waiting game as well. Also, my kids do not want to go to the same school either so they applied to a ridiculous number of schools. Here's hoping that April 1st comes soon.
