Subject: Girl Scout National Convention
It is a crazy-expensive ticket. I am still holding out hope they will release one day tickets.
I'm a council delegate so I'll be there, but I'd love for more of my troop to come too, and I just can't encourage their parents to pay that much money.

Do you have any info on that you can share? We're a GSCM troop and have asked several times about volunteering and have signed up for the volunteer email list on the convention website, but haven't heard anything at all. I understand they want to give the opportunities to GSCNC kids, I guess, but so many GSCM kids live just as close to DC as a lot of GSCNC kids.

I thought about taking my Girl Scout daughters but it's way too expensive. IT's really a shame. I think there is going to be some sort of GSCNC event at Franklin Square Park, maybe we will try that, if it's one the weekend.

We too were interested in attending. But 3 days was too much time too. I think one day is more the speed of our junior troop. 3 days is a lot for little girls to attend for and to keep their attention.

They just put out a call for volunteers for the Flag Ceremony which will get you in the door for free for that day.
It is WAY too expensive for the average troop.
