Try audiobooks. I use them as a distraction. If you want one that will make you laugh, try Mary Jane by Jessica Blau.

Is your upper or lower body injured? If it's just lower, get a speedbag. And hit that mofo hard.

If upper, find the seated elliptical at your gym.

If in the middle, I'm sorry.

Sleep. Sunshine (even just sitting in it). A light book or show. More sleep.

Any tips on how to let go of this anger? Normally I'd work out but I am currently injured (one of the reasons I'm mad!) and under doctor's orders not to do any exercise more strenuous than walking -- I can't even do yoga for another week+.

Any ideas?

Drugs, man. Good ones.

Journal about what might make you feel better, and do that.

If you’re perimenopausal, and it’s hormonal rage, read a good book or watch a movie that will make you cry to get it out.

Don’t judge yourself. Give yourself some grace.

OP here and it might partly be hormonal rage, thanks for mentioning that!

Good suggestions above.

You can also direct it somewhere productive. Write a letter to elected officials about some injustice or report to the city where public sidewalks or curb cuts still have not been cleared enough for people in wheelchairs.

Do walking, outside, in the sunshine.

Yeah - get on a consistent, solid sleep routine. It makes a world of difference in everything. Hang in there.

Breathe in through nose count of 4
Hold count of 7
Whoosh breathe out through mouth count of 8

Repeat 4 times. Heart slows.

My tips are:
1) Go to bed early
2) Drink more water than usual
3) Read calming books - light, funny novels, nonfiction that you know won't be upsetting, etc.
4) Get something under control - declutter and organize a drawer, make an appointment or send an email you have been putting off - something that gives you a small easy win and makes you feel in control.

Look into therapy. It can help people like you.

Thank you, that's helpful.
