Also, my personal conspiracy theory … I’ve always thought that that old viral content about all the European villages whose populations sometimes suddenly started dancing en masse and couldn’t stop (internet says 1300s to 1600s) was when meth was accidentally discovered.
The Red Dancing shoes legend was a parable about spending too much time coveting worldly goods instead of the values of pure internal goodness and morality and virtue
