Everyone who actually gets voted into office moderates, if they're thoughtful and care about their job.
Of course, Trump doesn't moderate because he's locked in the prison of his own small, dementia addled mind. Nothing is coming in and nothing is getting out.

We are discussing Mamdani as compared to mainstream Democrats. He ran against a weak field and won. In the end it doesn’t matter. He either responds to the people of NYC or he’s out at the next election. He’s not off to a good start.

also was he talking about how removing trash/ helping ppl is rooted in his faith principles b/c that is pretty normal for a politician-- they all talk about how their methidst faith is rooted n blah bah or how doing volunteer work wit their church instilled ball blah. He endorsed Gov Hochul and didn't back the DSA candidate. He's also distancing himself from his anti-Israel past. So maybe he isn't the Lenin on the Hudson his detractors make him out to be?
