Huh? I though you guys were rezoned to the lesser desirable schools and to Seneca Valley years ago? Where are you going now with option H?

Hey, be nice to OP. She's just a confused elitist.

Elitist? I think you are confused with Potomac. Cabin Branch is mostly made up of ethnic families with two working parents, if there are two parents. Is it upper middle class? Sure...but they're not elitist.

Hear, hear—finally, some sane voices. Equality is a two-way street. Cabin Branch has taken the hit from boundary decisions for far too long, and it’s time the BOE applies fairness consistently. Sadly, the community hasn’t had strong political leadership to challenge it—unlike some of the more elite communities that elected officials are often reluctant to cross.

OP can move.

An MCPS student being sent to an MCPS school is not an affront to human rights. OP should be more concerned about raising the "rating" of her county schools near her home.

NP....to be fair...the schools OP listed are the schools near her home. Cabin Branch has been through so many boundary studies already, and the kids keep being sent farther and farther away.

So says an OPTION H BENEFCIARY. Wonder how they would react if this was vice versa.

Equality feels like oppression, eh?

So many posts about the Boundary studies on Crown and Damascus Expansion. I'm fairly new to all this and its a lot of information to process. Here is me who moved to Cabin Branch community considering that the middle school was Rocky Hill and High school was Clarksburg. Now that new recommended option is Option H, it rezones us to schools with much lesser ratings. Since I'm fairly new to this and was wondering if anyone could help reach out and potentially change/stop this plan from being implemented? LMK if you guys have any ideas. TIA
