This is why I'm still wearing my merona tops from Target that are 10 years old. Would love a update, but short and boxy is not it.

Boden has basic items that I like but every review says "too short".

I also follow the Instagram account of Jolyn Shane and like her style but she's incredibly short waisted so nothing she recommends works.

My wish is for items to be a tad longer.

Go to google. Type in "Long Tall ____________"

It works!

5'10" here

Thanks for the suggestion but that's a big no for me. All that screams grandma from Kansas or New Hampshire to me.

OP, I have success with Gap clothes because the tops often come in reg, petite and long lengths. I get the tall length (sometimes it shows as “long”). When you find a top that works, buy it in every color. What about this:

Fair enough. It's just a look I like because it looks put together without needing to be tucked in.

OP here--also, shirts that need to be tucked in don't work. Or rouched shoulders, that adds weight where I don't need it.

I am just looking for simple but long enough tops or classic sweaters. Why is this so hard?

Any other ideas?

Quince is bad because ideally that's a style I am looking for but everything there is very short waisted.

Quince and Macy's tend towards boxy - Old Navy and Gap tends to have longer tops.

Can anyone please recommend cute tops for long torso, mid-section heavy, largeish boobs people? I am 5'10 and typically a medium/large. The cropped boxy look is not a good look for me!! I need to hide my mid-section and accommodate my shoulders/boobs.

Looking for very basic, classic stuff--breton tops, cute sweaters or sweatshirts.
