What age? I’m considering when to make the switch from 30 mins to 40 or 45 minutes for lessons. Teacher said whenever we want but the pieces are definitely starting to get longer.

Anonymous wrote:Depends on the kid's attention span. 30 minutes lesson is fine. I would aim for 30 minutes practice 5 days a week. One day lesson, one day is a day off. If she has other activities, though, try for 35 minutes 4 days a week.
But really, this is a hobby and it doesn't matter. If your kid was going to reach professional level at this, you'd know that already.
