I used to do a lot of hiring interviews. One time we had two full days of interviews for several positions. Everyone wore business or business casual. It wasn't super dressy, but people made an effort. One person, whom we knew, came to the interview wearing floral capri pants, a baggy t-shirt and sneakers. She had a big plastic tote bag like she just went shopping. She interviewed every so often because she had the qualifications and her attitude in interviews always matched her dress. As in, I think I'll pop in and try but not much. I don't think she prepared fot questions. I did think she wasted our time. I don't know what motivated her.

How many jobs have you had to interview for in your teeshirts? Are you a serial job hopper?

We’re willing to lay a bunch extra for non-autistic tech experts.

Wondering what you have seen lately...

How much time was actually wasted? You could have ended it immediately.

Like, a plain tee shirt? If someone was wearing a plain tee shirt under a cardigan or something I wouldn't care. A little casual for my liking for an interview but not offensive.

If it was like a screen print tee no that's bad

What job is it for? There are high paid jobs where it really doesn’t matter.

I've done remote interviews in tee-shirts and gotten offers for highly paid professional jobs. In person, I would throw a blazer over it just to be safe. But norms around this have changed so much in the last decade.

This would truly not bother me, m or f. I am late in my career and not impressed with looks, titles, linked in, etc. I can suss out your skills.

Maybe I'm just sick of the suit boys who do nothing though....
