How did Alexandria get GA back this year and when they were kicked out previously?

TSJ will happily take your money and then oops-a-daisy every promise they ever made to you, stressing how “truly committed they are to your DD’s success” and “apologizing for any inconvenience.” You thought you were getting GA but you’re getting Aspire or another league altogether? “We are confident our path forward will provide opportunities for development for DD that are even better than GA!”
Every league has its own criteria for evaluating member teams. The league has to balance its own revenue with providing quality competition that attracts more members over the years. So when TSJ—at every age group—falls like the kind of embarrassed turd that slips into the sewage hole in the toilet before you even flush it (you know the kind I’m describing), GA has to consider whether to continue to stake its reputation on the club and whether other GA clubs want to play TSJ. They don’t; it’s a waste of a weekend.

However getting demoted is the kiss of death for a club. The way ECNL prefers to handle this is by merging a crappy club into a better one. This why nobody loses face and the league can bring on someone new. The only loser in this situation is the crappy club owner who likely loses control but keeps getting a paycheck.
