The NBC package will also be extremely edited. Which can actually be useful during the ceremonies as the parade of nations takes a really long time. But also the NBC Olympics editing tends toward the treacly, inane, and annoying -- I prefer to just put on the live events via Peacock during the day while I'm working or getting chores done, and I can unmute and watch during exciting moments if needed. The daytime coverage tends to be a lot better IMO.
