That's not nordic walking. You use poles and a specific walking technique. It's not limited to winter, or hiking like trekking.

I've been seeing a number of promotions for Nordic walking/exercise.
First question: is there really something such as "Nordic exercise?"
Second question: has anyone tried Nordic walking, and if so, did you lose weight? How did you get started?
