But you have enough time to write this out and post her to complain ….

Are you my neighbor?

No, just a normal person who thinks it’s weird you have to vent here and waste everyone’s time when a simple email as described above will take care of the problem.

+1 But I'd add "I have junk removal scheduled for 02.20.26 so he'll need to get it before then if you still want it.

I think you're venting a little bit here. Just give him some time options. Say you'll need to be home to keep the new dog inside.

You told him you would let him know, what I would do is give him 3 specific blocks of time when you'll be home for at least 2 hours, ask if they work for him and if not ask him for alternatives. Agee to 2 time blocks. Give him a deadline for taking the swingset because you will dispose of it otherwise if not gone by then.

Anyway. Just tell him to make an appointment.

Dog is afraid of men. She was severely abused, is underweight and I’ve only had her for 3 days. Having a guy over right now isn’t a good time.

So keep the dog inside during the appointment. That's the point of having a set appointment. If you don't want any man in the vicinity of your house at all, then tell the neighbor they can't have the set.

So figure out what you want to happen and then communicate that to your neighbor.
