And she wants us to believe MCPS is blameless and instead decides to play the "it's not my job game" with the county government she relies on to fund and support MCPS?

That does not seem like the smart political move at all.

On top of that, the fact is the County Government was fully open Tuesday through Friday of last week (along with most other workplaces), while MCPS offices were closed the entire week. So I just have a lot of trouble having sympathy for them.

Most school bus stops are on private property and it is not the County's responsibility to clear those. And as someone else pointed out, trash service occurred all last week and I haven't heard of any issues with trash trucks navigating the streets. So yeah, MCPS needs to take a long hard look at what it means to be truly collaborative because how they do it is not it.
