OP here and these would be a little casual for my work place. I am too short to pull off pants as wide as those & Other Stories ones. I am going to look at Ann Taylor. Please keep the suggestions coming.

Anthropologie Maeve line of pants - some colorful options and cute cuts. The quality seems pretty good. And they come in petites.

I literally bought my favorite pant from there in black, dark purple, olive, and maroon. Love them.

Good recommendation! I feel like the styling they chose for the website does not do some of their pieces justice. I have these . . . the fit is fantastic, but you can't tell that from the photos.

DP

I find the real quality problems at Anthropologie- low quality high prices, poor fit - cute clothes but not worth it to me.

I’ve never been to Boden.

I like Brooks Brothers for colorful things. I buy mostly online. I know it’s not popular anymore, but still good quality, reasonable prices for quality.

Sometimes I get lucky at Nordstrom but it’s hit or miss and takes me forever to weed out all the “nope” clothes.

I’ll keep reading for ideas because I’m in the same spot, OP. I gained some weight (darn perimenopause) and have to buy some fat clothes now - I’m not really fat - short, size 4, and 125 lbs. I used to be able to rock anything when I was super slim - not so much these days.

Following this. I have about a million pairs of black pants for work and I hate them all.

I am so bored of black pants with a sweater or colorful top. Please recommend somewhere that I can get moderately priced pants that or not drapes and huge. I have a lot of pants from Boden but they are striking out for me at the moment. I love a lot of their ponte pants for work. Also I am short so I prefer petite sizing
