A therapist can help him set and achieve goals and help with procrastination. But if you want to essentially have a nanny or personal assistant for your college student, no, not covered.

We submit to 529 for reimbursement. It’s an educational expense.

I don't think medical insurance will cover it, but I believe you can use an HSA to pay for it.

I believe it was from a rec in the Parents of Collegebound Kids with ADHD Facebook group.

Not covered by insurance, but might be provided by the college's support services. My daughter's school provides that support. She has an assigned coach who meets with her weekly to check in on progress, help with organizational skills, teaching different techniques to help her figure out what works for her.

When parents ask me things like this, I tell them the analogy of a winter coat. Do I think their child would benefit from a winter coat when it is cold outside, so they could safely go outdoors and get fresh air and exercise without getting hypothermia? Yes. Can I write them a prescription for a winter coat to be covered by their medical insurance? No.

Some things you just have to buy if you want them.

That would be my job. I.e. mom. It's not covered by insurance OP.

College kid needs one to help with scheduling activities, getting things done, self motivating, organizing room, keeping routines, etc. How did you guys find help like this? Are they usually covered by medical insurance? Thank you for any advice.
