Decent psychologists know how to decompress, not make clients' problems their problems, and when to get therapy themselves. She needs to talk with her mentor.

I mean she’s 27 and has a stressful job.
Shes tired and on vacation.

I am worried about her, but I don't know if it's intrusive for me to broach it with her.

My husband sleeps a lot at his parents house during holidays because 1) he is on vacation; and 2) there are some family members who really annoy him.

You should approach this the same way you would a friend. "How are you doing? You've been so tired lately?" Then listen, listen, listen. The key thing: Remember SHE knows better than you do what she needs and wants.

Sounds like she is on the wrong path and needs help finding her way to her natural home.

Differential diagnosis is vast for this. Do recommend scheduling appointments with her primary care physician and therapist.

Working in a school is exhausting especially for an introvert.

Has she always needed a lot of sleep? I could see me easily doing this, but I need a lot of sleep. If my schedule is very busy, I will need a day of just crashing to recover. And I get a physical every year with regular blood work.

I would suggest she go get a full blood workup first to see if there is an underlying medical condition causing her to be excessively tired.

I would broach it gently and lovingly, ask if she's ok, ask if she needs any support, tell her what a great job she's doing overall!
