Both imvexxy and via help significantly with dryness. For libido, I use a small amount of testosterone cream. Had almost no testosterone when bloodwork was done. Hope this helps.

Do these products help with dryness? Or your sex drive? My libido is so low these days it’s a bummer.

I’m using imvexxy instead- also a prescription- the estrogen cream was really irritating to me.

You need to ask for Yuvafem/Vagifem. These are the tablets. They aren't messy, they don't come out, they are effective.

12 hours after doesn't matter, OP. The estrogen will have been absorbed already. That's what my gyn said. She said a couple-few hours max.
I felt better in a couple of weeks because the gunk coming out lubricated my parched labia. Cream. The estrogen effect might take longer.

I noticed a difference in a couple of weeks.
I notice white lumps in the toilet from time to time.
I asked gyn about time to absorb because for a while I was using vag weights that came out covered with cream and I was worried it was not going to work.
She said absorption time was a few hours.
I put it in at bedtime too. I don't need a liner.
OP are you inserting the applicator like a tampon before pushing the plunger?

OP her. Thanks for this info. Yes I am inserting the applicator like a tampon and am pushing it basically all the way inside before pushing the plunger. I’ll have to ask my gyn why I am discharging so much 12 hours after insertion.

Vaginal estrogen is topical. It should not be systemically active.

I think for me it took like 4 to 6 weeks to really notice some difference, but it also made me break out. Crazy. So, I stopped. LOL I don't want to be a 56 yr old woman with zits all over my face.

Are you using the capsule inserts or the manual application? I’d switch from manual if you can.

You should see a difference by now.

I’m post menopausal and have developed severe vaginal dryness and atrophy. I can’t go on HRT. My gyn has prescribed 1mg of inserted estrogen cream 3x/week, and a topical estrogen/progesterone cream for exterior daily application.

I’ve been using the creams for about a month and haven’t noticed a big difference. If you use these, how long does it take to feel optimal effects?

Also, I use these creams before bed, and have noticed that the inserted estrogen cream basically comes back out in the morning (it feels like a large amount comes out, I need to wear a pantyliner). Is there a chance my body isn’t absorbing the cream properly?

Thanks for any advice.
