This isn't true. Just as an FYI, VVa allows parents to enroll students during the summer as homeschool student. The parent acts as the 'mentor' and a 'counselor' during that time.

You should contact your high school. Usually there is one designated teacher who would be the main contact for VVA. They would be able to answer all related questions.

I know there are many posts about summer PE, but my question is specifically for parents who used VVa to obtain this course credit through FCPS. I understand that some schools have difficulty providing a liaison during the summer months, but has anyone tried registering as a “homeschool” parent in order to enroll in the course? This approach would eliminate the need for a summer contact at the high school.
