It sounds like the vote will be on Tuesday. But if it’s early enough and Trump signs it, yup, that sounds like it’ll be back to work on Tuesday. Maybe agencies have their own guidance.


I dont see any chance of them voting and Trump signing with enough time for people to get to work tomorrow. Also, last I read the vote was sometime late tomorrow afternoon.

It sounds like the vote will be on Tuesday. But if it’s early enough and Trump signs it, yup, that sounds like it’ll be back to work on Tuesday. Maybe agencies have their own guidance.

I think they can only lose like 1 vote. It seems hard to believe he can get the vote because the initial deal, while having a strong bipartisan majority, wasn't unanimous among the Rs.


The GOP hardliners have always made lots of noise and then fallen in line. Unlike Pelosi's House, which quietly voted for what she wanted, even when there was also a one vote margin.

How people do forget.


I still remember how long it took them to elect a speaker.
