Chicken wings and roasted potatoes in the oven. I marinate the wings overnight, then roast in the oven, on a different rack roast cut and drizzled with olive oil potatoes. Salad on the side.

Also...I like frozen butternut squash. That is another low effort, colorful vegetable that tastes great.

Easy meals for us include

Frozen pierogi - first sauté a bag of coleslaw mix (shredded cabbage) while pierogi bake and then toss. Shredded cheese or sausage optional.

Fish tacos using frozen fish fillets. While they bake I make a slaw with bagged slaw starter. Add anything else you like.

Cheeseburger salad. Bag of chopped romaine. Heat up meat or veggie crumbles. For toppings dice tomatoes, pickles, red or green onion and shredded cheese. Thousandth island dressing. Frozen fries baked.

Egg drop soup and dumplings. Make egg drop soup with broth, soy sauce, sesame oil and eggs. Add in spinach and green onions. Bake dumplings until crispy and add to soup or have on the side.

Greek salad with tomatoes, cucumber, chickpeas and possibly onion. Add feta and oil and lemon juice. Serve with canned dolmades or pita with hummus.

Chicken Parmesan. Flour, breadcrumbs, eggs, Parmesan, tomato sauce, and pasta are staples in our pantry/fridge. If you have all that stuff, you can just order the chicken and maybe arugula or salad greens for a side.

substantial but easy - normally I’d suggest tacos, spaghetti or soup but you ruled those out

is all pasta out? if not, lasagna or baked ziti

crockpot bbq chicken with Hawaiian rolls and coleslaw

brisket made in a slow cooker, seeved over egg noodles or mashed potatoes

sheet pan chicken sausage, peppers and onions

sheet pan salmon, baby potatoes and green beans

Make a marinade of soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, and green onions.

Cookl whatever protein you want on the stove (we do Salmon and steak) then throw the sauce on and let cook for a couple minutes until it thickens up a little.

It's super easy and fast.

I’ve been sick since last week and tired of takeout and other “easy” dinners like spaghetti or tacos. Tired of soup. Want something substantial but easy, with few ingredients. I’m placing an Instacart order soon.

What’s delicious but easy to make?
