Honestly, it was really stupid to put your house on the market this week. People use the days on market to assess a home's attractiveness, and if a property has too many DOM, buyers will start losing interest, wondering what's wrong with it, and trying to lowball.

Your buyer might find another house or get “cold feet” from your delay. Is the potential price difference worth losing your buyer? As another poster said, “…a bird in the hand.”

Is the snow and weather making it tough for people to see houses? Should we wait a few days more before accepting the offer and give people time to come in?

WTH is wrong with you??

We just had an ice storm with below zero temps and you are wondering why people have not looked at your home. Not to mention the economy is in the crapper because of the GOP.

How dumb are you?

They can’t see the land very well. There’s a reason the the spring market starts after Valentine’s Day/March here.

We have to close soon to get equity on our new construction house which is ready. We are already on the market so there is no going back.

Agent says interest is fairly high, but we have a fully renovated property in a great location and underpriced slightly with the hope of getting a few offers. Only one in so far, which is good enough but a bit less than we were hoping for.

We are looking at accept the offer or wait a few days for people to get in. We don’t want to lose interest / momentum from the one offer.

I would wait and let the people see it. Say you will review offers Tuesday night.

To answer the last question, a resounding yes.

But now our agent says 2-3 more offers may be coming in tonight! I’m keeping my fingers crossed…

If the offer walks and you are dry for another few weeks will you kick yourself? That’s the answer.

Of course op. It’s a massive pain to get around, no where to park. Why on earth wouldn’t you wait until after superbowl.

It’s a little early for open house season, but I get it that you can’t always pick when you have to move.

Do you need to move soon?
What is your agent saying in terms of interest?
