Oops. Not me putting the elastic over the outside of the boot!

You're doing it the right way.

Mine are older, so they don’t need help.
My tween: 2-3 times a day.
Teen: 1-2 times a day.

We usually go out at most 2x/day. So not more than that. It's a lot of work with little ones but why are you in and out quite so much? This seems self inflicted.

Usually one a day. They can dress themselves.

That was us as well. Kid got invited out on Wednesday with friends but chose to stay in and make valentines and read. I'm indifferent.

Sunday-Tuesday we went out twice a day, but kid is 8 and can get in and out of her gear on her own. Always hangs her jacket up and leaves boots on the drying rack, though less consistent with hanging up her snow pants.

I do not miss having a toddler and having to do all that for them!

The past few days my 10-year-old has done 1 or 2 outings per day (but I don’t need to help). The first couple days were in and out all day and I dried stuff a couple times.

I will say the gear is just strewn across my laundry floor … at least he’s using it and playing outside.

OP, guessing you have really little ones. It gets easier!

two or three times a day. My 8 year finally has the hang of the whole operation by himself.

The elastic gators inside the snow pants are meant to go OUTSIDE/OVER the boot.

Two to three times per day, but we don't need to help.

How old are your kids? Mine are 8 and 10 and can do their own snow gear.
