This is a bizarre concern. They’re on tv. You’re not eating the food. No one really is. Do you ever eat at a restaurant. I guarantee it’s way worse but you just can’t see it.

Not tying up hair.
Not washing hands
Touching beard (men)

Yuk, Ick. I just watch a Spanish cook who wears a hat, washes his hands, doesn’t have beard and keeps his hands off his face.

They aren't actually cooking.

Any photographed food is fake cooked.

For example, meat photographed for advertising is just hit with a blowtorch on the outside until it turns the correct hue for the photos. Shiny looking foods ate covered in varnish or oils.

They aren't cooking to feed people. They are pretsnd cooking, with shots of food that has been manipulated until its inedible to look good for the camera

Is it only because they are on TV and want to look glamorous by leaving it untied? Yes yes there are those with shorter hair or no hair but for those that have any hair, they should always tie all of it up

What do you think of cooks on TV shows/videos not tying up their hair while they prep and cook? Saw it on morning news show and cooking shows. Does it ick you out? What do you do with your hair while you prep and cook in your home kitchen?
