The low temperature makes this work incredibly harder.

Your body cuts off blood flow to preserve your core temperature.

Ice is much denser and harder than snow.

Ive had palpitations come and go since I was 13, normal to low weight! Visited doctor then and they said it was nothing, havent bothered going to the doctor since. You'll be fine.

I had a heart attack shoveling snow at 55. Be careful. My BMI is also in the healthy range.

Eh, DW had mild exercise induced heart palpitations once in a while in her 30s, went to a cardiologist and was prescribed a very small dose of something and told to stop caffeine. She's 47 and shoveling this heavy junk with no issues (I am too, don't worry). She was told genetics play a big role. So don't feel like it means you're out of shape.

I sure do, but palpitations wasn't on my list of stuff to expect. None of my friends have had these symptoms. I don't like being weak.

The snowplow wall is the worst. I’ve been taking it slow. Today I made two wheel tracks in the snow wall. Took breaks, didn’t life too much. Maybe tomorrow I’ll do a bit more.
Take it easy or ask for help. Three people died shoveling snow yesterday in Pennsylvania.
