Is this less likely at Fort Belvoir than at Walter Reed?

Just make sure a resident, intern or fellow does not operate.

A lot of the surgeons work at both facilities. Honestly, just get in with whoever you can. My family has done 2 surgeries in this region's MTFs and been really happy with both surgeons. Not for shoulder though, so I can't speak to that. I do find it's easier to get in touch with people at Belvoir. Those front desks publish their numbers and actually answer their phones. It was really hard at Walter Reed to get in touch with anyone.

I need shoulder surgery and have the option of going to Fort Belvoir or Walter Reed. ISO feedback from anyone who had shoulder surgery at the MTF. How was your experience at either one of these hospitals and is there a surgeon you recommend or one to avoid?
