Why take a WL in grade 6? Colleges want to see 3 years of WL in HS. Unless you plan to switch languages, you will run out of classes to take. Many HS combine upper level WL classes such as AP and IB with level 4.

Shows what electives are running at which a schools.

Don't take Digital Literacy. Principals try to force kids to take it (or a WL) to boost their school report card rating. It’s NOT a requirement and doesn’t count for your HS tech credit

What WAS digital literacy supposed to be?

My kid is moving up to Pyle next year. Posters to a thread I found from 2018 universally trashed the digital literacy class which had apparently only recently replaced a class called Reading 6. Is this class still thought to be a waste of time?

Also, I cannot find anywhere a list of the electives under the electives rotation--I have looked on Pyle's website, my ES website and through various slides from transition events. Can anyone direct me? Besides art what else is there? Will my kid be able to choose any of these in 7th?
